박병욱 조각가의 회고전이 있을 예정입니다.

2011년 갤러리현대 두가헌에서의 유작전 이후 코로나 기간을 넘겨 오랜만에 열리게 된 이번 전시에는

작가가 가장 활발히 활동했던 1970-80년대의 뛰어난 감각이 돋보이는 주요 작품들을 브론즈로 재 캐스팅하여

다시 볼 수 있도록 전시 하며 다양한 드로잉 작품 및 국전 24회 대통령상 수상작을 전시합니다.}

_{어떠한 과장된 제스츄어나 파격적인 실험주의의 물결 속에서 인체를 통한 인간의 존재론적 내재율과 나와의 싸움은 잔잔히 진행될 것이다.

이것이 나의 세계관과 가치관에 대한 조각가로서의 윤리의식이며 형식의지라고 얘기하고 싶다.}

_{I will quietly carry on my own struggle to illuminate the intrinsic existential rules of humanity through the human body amidst the waves of exaggerated gestures and radical experimentation. For me, as a sculptor, this endeavor encapsulates my ethical consciousness and artistic intention on the matter of form, which reflect my worldview and system of values.}
